Professional bicycle servicing and repairs from the experienced workshop team at Williams Cycles.
At the heart of Williams Cycles is our workshop. We have a host of NVQ-qualified mechanics, and nothing is unachievable.
Our workshop uses a booking system. We’ll happily give you a free, no-obligation quote on any cycle. Just bring it in.
We aim to offer an honest service, and work won’t be carried out without your prior consent. We can store cycles, but please be aware that space is limited.
Workshop wait times
Please be aware, our workshop is always busy. We usually have a 1 to 2 week wait in winter and up to a 4 week wait in summer.

Bronze Service
£60
£80 for e-bikes
- Frame safety inspection for dents, cracks etc.
- Gear check and adjustments
- Brake check and adjustments
- Wheel check plus true to ensure they’re safe, strong and straight
- A light clean using our Muc-Off frame cleaner
- Drivetrain lubrication using Muc-Off lube
- Tyre wear level and pressure check
- Test ride
- For e-bikes: electrical connection check and clean
- Software update when possible or relevant
Silver Service
£125
£145 for e-bikes · +£60 for full suspension
- Frame inspection for dents, cracks etc.
- Full frame bearing check for full suspension
- Headset bearings removed and regreased when necessary
- Gear and drivetrain service, including deep clean and labour to fit any parts
- Brake service, including bleeding, piston checks and labour to fit any parts
- Bottom bracket check and tighten, regrease and reface when necessary
- Wheel check plus true to ensure they’re safe, strong and straight
- A full clean using our Muc-Off products
- Tyre wear level and pressure check
- Test ride
- For e-bikes: electrical connection check and clean
- Software update when possible or relevant
Gold Service
£60 per hour
Full strip-down workshop service
- Full strip down of the frame and components
- Frame inspection for dents, cracks etc.
- Pivot bearings checked, cleaned and tightened
- Extra charge for bearing replacements when necessary
- New cables if required
- Headset bearings removed and regreased
- Bottom bracket removed, cleaned or replaced, refaced and reinstalled
- Gear and drivetrain service and adjustment, including deep clean
- Brake service including bleeding, piston checks and fitting replacement parts
- Wheel true, re-dish and spoke tension check
- Tubeless sealant check and replacement when necessary
- Tyre wear and pressure check
- Deep clean and detail
- Test ride
- For e-bikes: electrical connection check and clean
- Software update when possible or relevant

Suspension Servicing

Service at Williams Cycles
- Removal of the fork or shock from your bike
- Packaging and posting of the component to TF Tuned
- Safe and secure storage of your bike while TF Tuned do their thing
- Refitting of the component to your bike
- Clean up before collection
Service via TF Tuned
- Strip down and rebuild of the fork or shock
- Regrease of all seals and fresh oil
Wheels can be hand built to your requirements, with multiple rim, hub and spoke combinations available.
